I recently visited this delightful fish and chips takeaway, and I can confidently say it was one of the best meals I’ve had in ages! As soon as I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere hit me; it felt like a true local gem. I ordered the cod with a side of mushy peas and chips, and the portion sizes were incredibly generous. The fish was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and flaky and moist inside. The chips were golden and fluffy, just how I like them! I also loved that they offer a variety of sauces to accompany the meal, which added a nice twist. I was a bit taken aback by how busy it was, especially during dinner time, but the staff were incredibly efficient and friendly, making sure everyone was served quickly. If I had to nitpick, the only downside was that the waiting area could use a bit more seating, as it was quite packed. Nevertheless, the food made it all worthwhile. I can't wait to return and try their battered sausage next time! Overall, a fantastic spot for anyone craving classic fish and chips; highly recommend it!

What a fabulous find! I stumbled across this charming fish and chips takeaway while walking through the area and decided to give it a go. The first thing that struck me was the delightful aroma wafting from the kitchen, which had my mouth watering even before I ordered. I opted for the haddock and chips, and I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh everything tasted. The haddock had a lovely crisp batter that didn’t overwhelm the fish, and it was just the right amount of salty. The chips were also a highlight; they were thick-cut and had that perfect crunch! The staff were super friendly and even offered recommendations, which I appreciated. One minor suggestion would be to have more vegetarian options; my friend who was with me was on the lookout for a veggie alternative but only found a few. However, I still left with a big smile and a full stomach. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their offerings and to see what other delicious creations they have!

This fish and chips takeaway is simply brilliant! I had the plaice, and it was so fresh. The staff were lovely and attentive, making the whole experience enjoyable. My only wish is that they had a few more dessert options. Still, I highly recommend giving this place a visit!
